Upcoming planned maintenance

We have some upcoming planned maintenance on our mobile app and online banking services starting from 9pm Tuesday 4th June until 10pm. During this time, these services will be unavailable.

We aim to carry out any maintenance at times that will have the least impact on our customers, as well as let you know in advance, so that you can make any payments or transfers beforehand, without disruption. You'll still be able to use your Debit and credit cards in ATMs, whilst shopping online, or in-store, as normal.

Our automated telephone banking service will still be available and can be accessed 24/7 by calling 03457 212 212 (call charges apply).

With our telephone banking services, you can:

·       Check your balance

·       Make payments between your Co-operative Bank accounts

·       Make payments to your Co-operative Bank credit card

·       Check your recent transactions.

To give you the best customer experience possible, we sometimes need to carry out work on our systems to make improvements. As well as keeping all of our services safe and secure.

Protecting your money

Your eligible deposits with The Co-operative Bank are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme. This limit is applied to the total of any deposits you have with The Co-operative Bank and smile. Any total deposits you hold above the limit between these brands are unlikely to be covered.
