‘Going paperless’ is the decision to receive your bank statements online instead of by post.
Rather than getting your statements through your door, you will be notified by email that your new statement is ready, then you can log in to your online banking to view or download it, at any time.
You can go paperless on your current account and some other Co-operative Bank accounts. All you’ll need is an active email address.

The next statement generated will be paperless. Please note, you can only view paperless statements from the date you go paperless. Paper statements issued prior to this won't be archived online.
No, your statements can only be available to view and download online or by post.
Yes, you can change your mind at any time.
You’ll then receive paper statements from the next generated statement. Please note, when you receive paper statements, you’ll no longer get new PDF paperless statements.
Yes, you can download every statement as a PDF, which you can save to your computer.
Your eligible deposits with The Co-operative Bank are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme. This limit is applied to the total of any deposits you have with The Co-operative Bank and smile. Any total deposits you hold above the limit between these brands are unlikely to be covered.
