Do I have to use contactless instead of using Chip and PIN or cash?
Contactless offers you the choice of a quick and convenient way to pay for goods wherever the contactless symbol is displayed, however you can choose to continue to make payments by cash, or Chip and PIN should you wish. As an additional security measure, you’ll sometimes be required to enter your PIN when attempting a Contactless transaction.
