Please note, you are unable to change your username once you have created it, so please make sure that you choose carefully before committing as you will use this username every time you log into online banking. You can use your registered email address as your username however, if you ever change the email address that we hold for you, this won't automatically change your username.

It must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number. Your password can include special characters (such as £ $ ! ? @) but the characters that aren’t allowed are < > ; ` €
Your security code must be 6 digits in length.
For your security, we can’t accept security codes that are easy to guess (e.g. codes containing several repeated numbers or numbers in sequence).
If you are encountering difficulties registering for online banking, we may ask you some additional security questions to help us to verify your identity. These questions are generated by a third party company (Experian), using information from your credit file. Please note, these questions won't affect your credit history and we use the information given for security validation purposes only.

Your eligible deposits with The Co-operative Bank are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme.
