About this card

15.8% interest per annum on purchases and balance transfers.
- We charge 27.9% interest per annum on cash withdrawals.
No annual fee and no balance transfer fee.
- You can transfer up to 95% of your credit limit (minimum £100). However, you can’t transfer a balance from another smile or Co‑operative Bank credit card.
Minimum credit limit of £300.
We won’t charge you interest on purchases if you pay your credit card balance in full and on time.
- You will only pay interest on purchases if you haven’t paid off the full balance by the due date, which is 25 days after your statement date. You’ll be charged interest immediately for cash payments, cash-related payments or balance transfers.

  If you have a smile current account, you’ll be eligible for the above preferential rate. If you close that account, the interest rate will revert to our standard rate of 21.9% APR representative / variable

18 or over.
UK resident.
Earning a minimum Gross Annual Income (GAI) of £10,000.
An existing customer having held a Co-operative Bank or smile current account for at least 1 month (Cashminder, Student and Pathfinder accounts are not eligible).
Not had any County Court Judgments (CCJs) , entered into any Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs) or Trust Deeds nor been declared bankrupt within the last 6 years.
Not in arrears or have not missed more than 2 payments on any credit agreement in the last six months.
Must be employed full time, part time, self-employed or retired.

Additional cardholders can be unemployed as long as they’re 18 or over and a UK resident.

Approval is subject to status and based on a credit check and an assessment of your personal circumstances.
