How do I pay my smile credit card?
When making a payment online, by phone or post please use the details below;
Online
- Log in to online banking.
- Select the account you want to pay your bill from.
- Select 'Pay & Transfers'.
- Enter the payment details by following the on screen instructions.
Mobile app
- Log in to your mobile app.
- Select 'Pay & Transfer'
- Select the account you want to make the payment from
- Select 'Make a payment to your credit card'
- Choose the credit card you want to pay
- Select from the payment options displayed and press 'Continue'.
Direct Debit
Ways to set up a direct debit:
- Call us on +44(0)3457 212 212 (Call Charges). Lines are open 8am-8pm, 7 days a week. Call us from the UK and abroad.
- Download and print off a copy of our Credit Card Direct Debit Mandate form and return it to the address provided.
- Visit your local branch and pick up a copy of the form there.
Branch
- Visit your local branch at least two Business Days before the payment is due.
Post
Make sure you post your cheque at least seven Business Days before your payment is due.
- Make cheques payable to The Co-operative Bank plc, followed by your 16 digit credit card number.
- Send the cheque with a completed paying in slip from the bottom of your statement to this address:

Please allow enough time for your payment to reach your credit card account, as late charges may apply. If you are paying your credit card from a Co-operative Bank or smile account, please allow two Business Days for your payment to be processed.
