My contactless card has been stolen, could it be used repeatedly to pay for items?

If your card exceeds a certain number of transactions a day, the reader will then ask for your PIN. 

If you see any transaction that you don't recognise on your account, you should report it to us as soon as you possibly can. The number to call is 0345 600 6000 (Call Charges). The same process applies if your card’s gone missing and you can’t find it.
