When you make a payment with Samsung Wallet, it doesn't send your actual debit or credit card number with your payment. Instead it uses a virtual account number that differs from the details on your card, meaning your card details stay safe.
Additionally, you need to unlock your device before you can make a payment, meaning you need to use your fingerprint, iris or device passcode or pattern. And you may need to use it again to authenticate the payment.
